Kollam backwater's best houseboat. Luxuriously appointed with excellent staff. Lovely cabins + private upper deck.
The Kollam backwaters and Ashtamudi Lake are more rarely visited than the main backwaters of Alappuzha district, even though they were once part of the inland navigation system of Kerala.
As a result there are far fewer boats available and the overall cruise not so diverse. On the other hand, if you are staying in Kovalam and don't want to drive all the way to Alappuzha (4 hours) then Kollam is a much more manageable 2 hour drive along the coast from Kovalam Beach hotels.
This is the best boat in Kollam and offers a very luxurious cruise with good facilities, attentive staff and great local food cooked aboard.
